Who we are
TEC MotorSport is an interdisciplinary group of the Tecnológico de Costa Rica devoted to research and development in the automotive industry. It was born in 2023 from a passion its members share: Costa Rica has few academic spaces for this industry, and even fewer focused on high-performance technology.
Here, students study, research, design, build and improve automotive engineering projects. Along the way they grow both their technical skills and their teamwork.

To be a multidisciplinary design and research team at the TEC, specialized in the automotive sector, staying at the forefront of new technologies worldwide.
